In case you’ve missed all of the people on social media lauding the return of Pumpkin Spice everything, Fall is upon us.

That means it’s time to update wardrobes, hairstyles, makeup and of course, our skincare regime.

Here are some ways you can take care of your skin this Fall:

Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Pads available at Just4Girls.pk

1. Exfoliate

We should be exfoliating year round, but if you’ve skipped out on this during the summer, Fall is the time to get back into the swing of things. Am exfoliating cleanser is a good step, but a straight out exfoliating cream is worth its weight in gold.

Some exfoliating cleansers can be used daily, but I would only recommend exfoliating once or twice a week. The point of exfoliating is to remove dead layers of skin, so if you exfoliate too often, you’ll end up removing ( and damaging ) healthy skin layers also. When the weather drops, our skin tends to dry out more than hotter months. I love these Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Pads. They make exfoliation easy, quick and nearly mess free.

2. Moisturize

This includes face and body. You definitely don’t want to use the same moisturizer for both, though. Your facial skin is more delicate and prone to damage ( and breakouts ) than body skin, so you don’t want to be using heavy body butters for your face even if you have dry skin. Evoluderm has a wonderful collection of moisturizers for the body. Not only do they have different formulas for different skin concerns, these are both budget friendly and suitable for the entire family. Evoluderm is a great skincare line which is completely manufactured in France and their products are worth every last cent you invest in them.

If you’re looking to change your facial moisturizer, but aren’t quite sure where to begin, I definitely suggest investing in some minis to try out. Just4Girls.pk has a fabulous Mini Bar with all kinds of travel sized goodies for skin and face. Formulas I like ( and they’re available in the Mini Bar tab at Just4Girls.pk) are: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Custom Repair Moisturizer and Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. All of these are available in mini form, which gives you a good week or two’s worth of testing the product to decide if you want to invest in the full sized versions.

Before I go any further, I want to make a case for purchasing full size rather than continually buying mini versions. If you’ve found a formula that works for you, then it’s a better investment in the long run to get the full sized. Especially when it comes to skin care. It’s one thing to keep a collection of miniature lip formulas, eyeshadows and mascara/liner, because these are things we tend to switch out more often. Skincare is more personal, and rather than continuing to buy mini after mini of something that works best for your skin, it’s better ( and cheaper ) in the long run to invest in the full size. You spend less on shipping and handling fees and you don’t have to go without your product in between delivery dates.

Clinique Sugar Scrub and Lip Balm in Sweet Rose available in Just4Girls.pk

3. Include a Lip Balm

Lip Balms are so very important year round, and especially so in the colder months. Our lips are often the first to experience chapping, weather burn and damage due to the elements. I love combination products, like this Clinique Sugar Scrub and Lip Balm in Sweet Rose. Just4Girls.pk has a great selection of Lip Balms, so I definitely recommend you go and check them out. Now is the time to stock up before supplies become limited!
