In recent years, famous people, like Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, the Hadid’s, and Jessica Alba, have been sharpening in soft Glam, however. Anastasia Beverly Hills even delivered a palette of a similar name back in February 2018, Stating “it looks great on anybody, anywhere.” Almost two years after the fact, soft Glam has become a definitive cosmetics trendy expression apart from everything else.

Soft Glam always starts with a luminous base. Hydrated, smooth skin will always read soft, even if it’s matte and full coverage. Soft Glam makeup can also be called an “everyday makeup look,” which looks natural and can be worn every day. Soft glam makeup needs a lot of techniques to look perfect. Applying too much of a product can make it look cakey, and the whole concept of a natural look ends. Soft Glam is a much-needed refresher for the individuals who are over hefty cosmetics looks, and it’s simpler to accomplish. It is also a go-to look for a beginner who wants to learn to do flawless makeup. This is s trendy yet timeless look that an individual can create and look perfect with minimal products.

We start with prepping our skin using a good moisturizer. I have oily to combination skin; hence I use Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer. A water-based moisturizer leaves my skin soft and plump. It has Hyaluronic Acid, which helps hydrate skin and leaves it very smooth without making it heavy on the skin. After which, you should ALWAYS Use sunscreen/ Sunblock. My skin is sensitive, so I use Avene Sunscreen for sensitive skin SPF 30. You should always wear a sunscreen that is SPF 30 or above.

Along with sunscreen, prime your skin with a primer, using whatever suits your skin. I use a primer from the Elf Hydrating Face Primer Clear. This leaves my skin Hydrated and blur. Hydration is the key to flawless makeup. Makeup never looks good on dehydrated skin.

Genuinely speaking, applying setting powder before your makeup helps your foundation go on super smooth, which is precisely what we want to achieve with a soft glam look. It controls oil and helps your makeup look good for longer. This hack may be most helpful for oily skin types. I use Makeup revolution translucent setting powder to set my makeup. It’s perfect for my skin type. I’ve been using it for years, and now it’s my Fav!!!

Creating a warm look with Juvia’s Nubian Palette’s help is my favorite part of this look. Matte shadows in varying tawny and brown shades use you to create dimension without adding major drama to the eyes. Juvia’s Palette contains all the colors that will help you achieve this look flawlessly. It has a perfect balance of matte and shimmer shades and works well on every skin tone. Another trick for this can be to use any bronzer on your face or a light blush on your eyelids to give it a pop of color.

As far as false lashes go, they’re optional. If you like to wear lashes daily, you can go with any lighter lashes for a more decadent look. I don’t particularly appreciate wearing lashes daily, so I avoid wearing lashes on this look.

While my preference for a soft glam look is a light-coverage skin-like foundation such as a Garnier Skin Naturals BB Cream Oil Control – Light, this gives a luminous finish and gives a light to medium coverage, which I prefer for a daily look. Or Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Concealer is a perfect drugstore concealer covering all my dark spots and acne scars. This is affordable and buildable.

As you may realize by now, the key to creating a soft glam look is to not go overboard with anything, and that, of course, includes highlight and contour. I love using highlighters—liquid highlighters are my favorite. I use Ellen Tracy Liquid Illuminator to highlight my face, and I top it off with a powder highlighter, which is Makeup Revolution Highlight Reloaded Just My Type. This gives such a beautiful glow to my face. I love this duo.

It’s safe to say that soft glam makeup typically calls for a nude lip. You can try varying shades of nude (peachy, rose, or tawny). I use Elf Matte Liquid lipstick in the shade – Praline, or use  Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Lipstick – Cool Girl. This nude lipstick glides on smoothly and is the perfect addition to any makeup look. It’s infused with hydrating ingredients like shea butter and jojoba seed oil, so you’ll be treating your pout while making it look Glam, too. You can also use a gloss on top of these this season to hydrate your skin and keep them glossy. You can use any lip balm or any gloss; my favorite is Morphe Icy Lips Lip Gloss – Money Miami
